A DEEPER LOOK INTO POSED NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
Class Description:
This session is geared towards both new and experienced newborn photographers. Whether you are brand new to newborn photography or just want to expand your skill set and create more consistent and polished work, this class is for you. This presentation will give you a deeper look into posed newborn photography including how to market yourself to potential clients, how to prepare your clients and build a relationship, the shooting process, posing with confidence, editing to achieve a polished and consistent style, and finishing up with a brief overview of presenting and selling your work to your clients. The class will be broken up into 2 parts: the first part will be pre-shoot instruction, and part 2 will be an in depth wrap-up.

Ask me anything… lighting, camera technique, marketing, working with clients, etc. - Newborn Editing
We will spend an hour reviewing your RAW files, proper color balance and skin tone, and you will be able to watch me edit your images to create a clean and polished image.

ABOUT KERI
Phoenix, Arizona based, Keri Meyers, has had a successful newborn photography business since 2008. She is an industry expert with a unique and classic style that has greatly impacted the newborn photography industry worldwide. Keri is a mom, wife and entrepreneur. She has photographed newborns all across the country, and mentored photographers from all over the world on the art of posed newborn photography through her workshops. As a former elementary teacher with a master’s in education, teaching and encouraging others to grow has always been a core part of Keri.
Keri is a member of Professional Photographers of America. She has been awarded first place in the Newborn Division in the National Association of Child Photographers Image Competition. Keri has also earned first place two years running as best portrait photographer in King 5’s Best of Western Washington Contest (before relocating to Phoenix).
